I’ve been eyeing 👀 this eyeshadow palette by Juvias Place for a while now and I’m glad I got it. I was dying to have a more highly pigmented eyeshadow and I heard so many good reviews since 2016 on this brand and I needed a new palette so yeah this was it. I got the ‘Magic’ palette which is inspired by the goddesses of Africa; a very unique theme.

I like these warm toned colors on me better than the cool toned shades. I am a huge fan of the colors Osun and Zuba especially. I think I’m slowly becoming a fan of pink. It’s kinda cool that they have a red shadow in this palette. I feel like you don’t see much red in eyeshadow world, we all know why that is but if done right, red can come out so pretty on the eyes. I have yet to do a red eyeshadow look (I’m still afraid of it unfortunately.) The colors show up very well on the eye. The only color I’m not too keen on is Kesi. I don’t like how light it is on my skin but I use it underneath another shade like Osun to brighten it up.

The cool tones are nice because it’s something for everyone in this palette. The shimmer colors even have a metallic feel to them. I usually keep away from cool tones simply because they aren’t my favorite but I wanted to play around with them for New Year’s Eve and I like how the colors worked together.
